Reverie Mural on Visual Arts Center Wall for Art Festival Celebrating Art Nouveau and Art Deco

Mural recreation of "Reverie" (Alphonso Mucha's well known art nouveau work -- thought to be his best - from 1898 for the printer F. Champenois). by Liz Hutchinson at the Visual Arts Center wall for their current exhibition and art festival "Sensuality Meets Symmetry" through November 29.

New "Beautiful Bike in Paradise" at Ponce Park from Team Punta Gorda

As Part of Team Punta Gorda's Beautification Program Team Members are painting and decorating old bikes and placing them at various places in town.  This newest one was just installed yesterday by artist Carol Thorne.  Note that it is meant to attract visitors to the Wildlife Center... note  baby bird face on the yellow bike.

Painting of the old Punta Gorda Hotel (Charlotte Harbor Hotel) which hangs at the Charlotte County History Museum in Charlotte Harbor.  Painting is one of a series of historic Charlotte County buildings by Betty Reese, local artist.
